Class

Algorithms is getting to me.

We’re moving lightning fast plus the professor has this nasty habit of working 30 minutes into a problem, realizing he made a mistake 30 minutes ago, and then just tells you mostly what mistake he made and doesn’t rework the problem. And when I say half an hour, that’s the conservative estimate. I’ve realized I need to talk to TA’s every week otherwise the homeworks and tests are going to be impossible.

InfoSec has been very very interesting. From guest speakers to just relevant and current topics, the class is really on top of what a computer science class should be. I think the whole networking line of classes are really well developed and offer a lot of skill base for those who want to go into the security/networking portion of the industry.

Stats has been stats.

I’ve started slipping into the GT Craft Center way more often now, and I have several projects in progress. I’ll start posting some of the works here. I’ve also started experimenting with different painting techniques which make my pottery look more finished and professional. It’s been nice to be able to pour my creative energies into a different kind of outlet.

Suddenly many of my friends are getting married.
And I’m getting weirded out. I don’t know why. I guess I wanted the world to hold onto it’s youth a little longer with me. It’s not really logical. But it is really weird.

Oh well. It’s like graduating high school. Except, its graduating college. And doing life.

Speaking of doing life…I’m looking into grad schools I’m interested in. In a couple years, I’ll likely want to go back to school and get my masters. Which reminds me, I want to take the GRE.
Anyone want to study / take it with me?
