Commencement and Goodbyes
Posted by Sunira under education, fun, photo
I can’t believe I actually got up on time to make it to commencement. But I did and it was really not that bad since summer has a lot less graduates and therefore a much shorter commencement. I was really kind of sad to see the people I know and have worked with just leave. Paz is going on a world tour that includes a lot of Europe, and New Zealand. I would DIE if someone took me to New Zealand. Anyway. Here are some pictures from commencement and the fun afterwards.
Paz is the Indian guy looking at the photo. Menda is another one of my friends and he’s the one next to Paz fixing his hat.
Menda’s Family. That’s his wife and two kids. :) Focal B/W worked well here I think.
Paz poses by the Rambin’ Wreck. :) He’s a Ramblin Wreck from Georgia Tech and a hell of an Engineer…!
Quick group shot before we head to Cafe Istanbul
I really had a good time here. That’s Mani, and me.
The entire table. Poor V got stuck behind the Hookah.
Cafe Istanbul was rather lovely. From the outside the place looks kind of dinky but inside the ambience is amazing. It’s hard to see in these flash lit photos, though. The atmosphere was dark and the music was very … beatalicious. Its a word now.
I met four new people today, one of which was almost my roommate last year. The Iranian girl in the middle! Small world. Eh. I’m gonna miss Paz. I hope he has a great time wherever he goes. Good news though is that Shilpa is coming into town from North Carolina tomorrow and we’re going to have some dinner together. :)
Until later, gators.
